Responding to former chief minister Harish Rawat’s statement regarding the Chhawla gangrape and murder case, Cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal said that the senior Congress leader is confused. Talking to media persons on Saturday, the minister said, “I have told you in the past too that the stage in which he is now has caused him to be in a confused state of mind. He says something in the morning and something else in the evening but still has to say something. It should be understood that there is the option of appeal against the recent decision of the Supreme Court,” said Uniyal.

It is pertinent to mention here that after the Supreme Court acquitted the three men accused in the Chhawla gangrape and murder case, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has talked to the Union Law minister Kiren Rijiju and the advocate handling the case in the apex court seeking appropriate action to ensure justice in the case.
