Rawat directs SHA to encourage hospitals in mountainous areas for Ayushman scheme

Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the hospitals in the mountainous areas of the State should be encouraged for getting associated with the Ayushman scheme. He chaired a meeting held to review the Ayushman scheme at the State Health Authority (SHA) office on Saturday.
In the meeting, the minister directed that the claims of the empanelled hospitals of the scheme should be disposed of within the stipulated time frame. He said that the scheme is associated with the general public and everyone should work with seriousness for its better coordination.
The minister directed that a meeting with the officers of the Finance department should be held regarding the budget for the SHA. He also directed the officers to complete formalities for making the Aysuhman cards from the Family register of Panchayats. In the meeting elaborate discussion on preparing a balanced master package for the Ayushman scheme and initiatives for encouraging hospitals located in mountainous areas for getting associated with the scheme were held.
The chief executive officer (CEO) of SHA Reena Joshi, Finance director Abhishek Anand and others were present in the meeting.
