Ranji Trophy: U’khand stands at 310/5 against Railways

Uttarakhand has gained a strong position in the ongoing Ranji Trophy match being played at Kaushiki Cricket Ground, Ramnagar. Resuming their innings 122 runs behind on Monday, Uttarakhand scored 310 runs for the loss of five wickets. Due to poor light, the umpires called off play after only 72 overs on Monday. Yuvraj Singh played a brilliant knock of 92 runs while Bhupen Lalwani contributed 78 runs before being dismissed. Shashwat Dangwal (21) and Suchit (14) were unbeaten at the crease. Uttarakhand now trails by just 23 runs.
For Railways, Kunal Yadav took three wickets while Himanshu Sagwan and J A Khan claimed one wicket each.
Among those who watched the match were the president of Cricket Association of Uttarakhand, Deepak Mehra and joint secretary, Noor Alam.
