Ramnagar witnesses revival of its theatre legacy

In an effort to revive the theatrical legacy of Ramnagar,   Samanvay Sanskritik Samiti hosted a one-day theatre festival in memory of late K B Lal Shrivastava.  The theatre lovers of the region looked happy over the revival of the legacy that gave the town a distinct cultural identity between 1976 and 1995.  Hundreds of theatre lovers gathered to witness the festival which involved performances by artists.

Great Mission Public School played a role in the organisation of this cultural event under the guidance of the school’s managing director, Prasoon Shrivastava; principal, Nalini Shrivastava and directors, Pranay Shrivastava and Alokita Shrivastava.  The senior functionaries of Samanvay Sanskritik Samiti were also deeply involved in the hosting of the festival.   

Another major highlight of the event was the release of the fourth consecutive awareness-based short film “Aakhiri Boond” (The Last Drop) produced by Great Mission Films.  “The film powerfully portrays the serious issue of water conservation,” said one of the organisers.
