Punjab conspiracy exposed in PM’s security breach case- CM Dhami

Citing the sting operation of Punjab police personnel shown by a TV channel as evidence of the breach in Prime Minister’s security, the BJP has said that the conspiracy of Congress government of Punjab stands has been exposed. In Uttarakhand the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed a press conference on Wednesday in which he targeted the Congress party for the security breach in PM Modi’s security during his recent visit. Dhami said that the sting proves that the protest on the route of the PM was sponsored and not spontaneous. He said that a deputy superintendent of police DSP) rank officer of CID Punjab police is heard saying in the sting that a ground report about the protesters plan was given to the Punjab administration. The CM said that the CID officers were giving regular information about the planned protest but the Punjab government deliberately ignored these reports. “After the PM was stopped bt protesters the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president of Punjab Navjot Siddhu termed it as a drama and Harish Rawat said that no bomb was there. In light of the sting operation the Congress high command should come forward and respond,’’ he said.

Dhami added that the PM is not of any party but is of the whole country and the breach in his security is a black chapter in the democracy of the country. 

The CM also listed the achievements of his government on the occasion. He said that in the last five years the double engine government has increased road, rail and air connectivity and the health facilities and infrastructure has improved. He said that work on Kedarnath reconstruction was done at a cost of Rs 400 crore under the guidance of PM Modi and projects worth Rs 250 crore have been approved for Badrinath.  Dhami said that a satellite centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is being set up in Udham Singh Nagar and the approval for survey of Tanakpur- Bageshwar rail line has been given by the Union government. The CM and the work on Rishikesh- Karnprayag rail line would complete till the year 2024. He said that Dehradun airport is being improved as per the international standards and clearance for Dehradun – Delhi elevated road had been given.

The CM said that the process of recruitment on 1734 posts in the police department is underway and the recruitment process on 24,000 posts has started. He added that the state government has provided tablets to 2.65 lakh students of schools and colleges of the state.
