A meeting was held on Thursday with the SDM Pramod Kumar at the chair to review preparations for the upcoming religious fair slated at Garjiya Devi Temple on November 5 on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. After the meeting, Kumar informed that shuttle bus services would be operating for devotees visiting the fair. Entry of tractor-trolleys from Haldua Barrier and Belgad Nala would be restricted to ensure smooth traffic flow. Besides, the Jal Sansthan has been instructed to ensure adequate drinking water supply during the fair.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of a number of departments like Transport, Food Safety and PWD aside from the members of the temple committee.
