The golden jubilee celebrations of PNG Govt College, marking the completion of 50 years, were held with the enthusiastic participation of the teachers, staff, students and alumni. Addressing the programme, the local MLA Diwan Singh Bisht urged the students to have dedication to achieve a goal.
Former students recounted the journey of the college through challenges. They mentioned that the college had started with limited resources.
The principal, M C Pandey was among those who addressed the commemorative programme.
