Taking cognizance of the huge rush of the pilgrims and reports of mismanagement the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram to camp in Uttarkashi. Sundaram who also holds the charge of secretary to chief minister will monitor the arrangements at Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines. He will remain in touch with district administration, Police and State administration to streamline the arrangements in Uttarkashi district.
