Planning to construct one mini stadium in every village- CM Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the state government is planning to construct one mini stadium in every village of Uttarakhand. He participated in a sports and cultural programme organised at the mini stadium Pajitilani village of Kalsi block of  Dehradun on Tuesday. Dhami said that under the ‘ Swastha Yuva, Swastha Uttarakhand’ scheme the state government is planning to open one gym in every village and the budget for it has been released in many places. He said that sportsman spirit comes handy in every field. Informing about the new sports policy, the CM said that it has been brought to ensure that there is no dearth of resources for the promising youngsters.

Congratulating the organisers of the sports event which is being organised after a gap of 12 years, CM said he is attending the programme not as a CM but as a sportsperson. He said that sports remove dullness and gloom from our lives.  Dhami said that our country is progressing in every field under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that earlier our soldiers had to take permission to open retaliatory fire but now the bullets of the enemy are being replied with the shells. The CM said that in order to ensure that no family goes to bed without food during the pandemic of Covid-19, free ration was provided to 80 crore people under the leadership of PM Modi. He said that the task of vaccinating people against the Covid-19 was done in the whole country despite tough geographical conditions. Dhami said that India is scaling to new heights of development under the leadership of PM Modi and he has a special affinity towards Uttarakhand.  

The CM announced many development schemes and projects for the area in the programme. The Vikasnagar MLA Munna Singh Chauhan, Block Pramukh of Kalsi, Mathor Singh and others were present on the occasion.
