Bharatiya Janata Party state president Madan Kaushik said that Congress leader Sachin Pilot is unhappy with his own party’s policy, Congress governments and organisation. He simply discharges his duty wherever he is sent by the party. Kaushik said, “Pilot also knows that the Congress is not capable enough to run the nation. Before giving a discourse on the prices of petrol and diesel, he can do something to get the VAT reduced in Rajasthan. The highest VAT in India is in Rajasthan where 36 per cent is being charged on petrol and 26 per cent on diesel. On the other hand, VAT is lowest in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The rise in crude oil prices in the international market has affected the domestic rates. The economy of the whole world has been affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic and India is not unaffected either. This has affected business and employment.  The governments have implemented various schemes for self employment and all types of assistance were provided to help the people,” averred Kaushik.

He further said that during the Covid pandemic, the BJP governments at the centre and state along with the organisation were busy working to save the lives of the people and are even now busy preparing for protection from a possible third wave. On the other hand, the Congress is viewing this disaster as an opportunity though its intentions will not be fulfilled, said the BJP state president.
