Paanch Nyay, 25 guarantees of Congress eliciting tremendous public response: Selja

The Uttarakhand in- charge of the Congress, Kumari Selja has claimed that the Paanch Nyay and 25 guarantees of the Congress party are eliciting good response from the general public. Interacting with the media persons at Jairam Ashram in Haridwar on Saturday she said that the Congress party is contesting the Lok Sabha elections with its full might. She said that the Congress party has made promises to the people of the country in corruption, employment, women empowerment and participation in power. Selja said that on coming to power the Congress party will bring the unemployed, farmers, youth, dalits and backwards into the national mainstream.
The head of election campaign committee of the State Congress Pritam Singh exhorted the party workers to work hard to ensure victory of Congress candidates in all the five Lok Sabha constituencies. He said that the Congress party will not get deterred by the campaign of falsehood unleashed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kumari Selja was in Haridwar to oversee the preparation of the party for the rally of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi in Roorkee on April 13. The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, AICC secretary Qazi Nizamuddin, former cabinet minister and in charge of Haridwar LS Shoorvir Singh Sajwan, Rajpal Kharola, Dhirendra Pratap and other leaders were present on the occasion.
