Patanjali and BEG Centre ink MoU for holistic health through Yoga-Ayurveda

The University of Patanjali, Patanjali Research Institute and  Bengal Engineer Group and Centre, Roorkee signed a memorandum of understanding to boost Indian knowledge system and health. Acharya Balkrishna said that at a time when ailments like stress and depression caused by modern lifestyle are affecting the soldiers too, Yoga and Ayurveda will provide a positive solution to these problems.

The aim of the MoU is to benefit serving and ex-servicemen along with the general public through Yoga, Ayurveda and traditional Indian knowledge. The agreement will enhance education and awareness on Sanatan knowledge, Yoga, Ayurveda and health. Balkrishna further said that ex-servicemen will be provided an opportunity in Patanjali based on their skills, to enable them to serve the nation once again. He said that this MoU is not just an agreement but a concrete step towards strengthening campaigns like Swasth Bharat and Fit India.

BEG Centre commandant brigadier Karun Pratap Singh said that this MoU shows the commitment of both institutions to publicise the Indian knowledge system. The MoU with Patanjali will prove to be a milestone, he added.
