One new case report positive of Covid-19 in Dehradun

One new case of Covid-19 was reported in Dehradun on Thursday. The Dehradun Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma said that on Thursday one new positive case was admitted for treatment at Arogyadham hospital. With this addition, the cumulative number of positive cases of Covid-19 has reached 11. Two individuals have migrated and seven have recovered so far, he said.
He further added that currently, there are two active Covid-19 cases: one is being treated at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and the other at Arogyadham. Sharma said that on Thursday alone, 13 samples were tested for Covid-19, bringing the total number of samples tested so far to 83. He emphasised that there have been zero deaths reported in Dehradun from this Covid-19.
It will be recalled that the additional CMO of Dehradun and district surveillance officer Dr CS Rawat had earlier urged the public to remain calm and adopt all necessary precautions, such as maintaining distance, wearing masks and practicing good hygiene. He asked the public to follow Covid appropriate behaviour to prevent infection.
