One new case of Covid-19 was reported in Dehradun on Tuesday. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Dehradun, Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma, confirmed that with this new case, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the area has now reached 17. This includes 11 local cases and six cases involving migrants.
Currently, there are two active Covid-19 cases in Dehradun. One individual is receiving treatment at Primus Hospital, while the other is being cared for at home. Dr Sharma also said that 10 samples were tested for Covid-19 on Tuesday, bringing the overall number of samples tested so far to 149. Notably, he emphasised that there have been no reported deaths related to Covid-19 in Dehradun.
