In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is all set to announce in a couple of days four per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) for the State government employees and the pensioners, said the members of the employees’ union after meeting the CM at the State Secretariat. They further said that they had raised their long-pending demands before the CM at the meeting. If the government announces the DA hike it would be raised from 42 per cent to 46 per cent. The president of the union Arun Kumar Pandey said that they had raised the demand of relaxation in the promotion norms and the CM said the matter would be taken up at the next cabinet meeting. He further said that they had also met the additional chief secretary (finance) Anand Vardhan on the promotion-related demand.
