With the Char Dham yatra about to begin, all the line departments have been asked to work in coordination. A mock drill has been conducted in the state. Meanwhile, the Disaster Operation Center received information about a stampede at Rishikesh bus station. Besides, there was a cloud burst in Uttarkashi’s Barkot and in Haridwar, several devotees went missing due to floods in the Ganga. Rescue teams rushed to the spot. CM Dhami reached the control room to take stock of the situation.
