Newly elected office bearers of students’ union hold thanksgiving meeting

Following the student union election at Kumaun University’s DSB campus, the newly elected office bearers held a thanksgiving meeting at which the newly appointed office-bearers assured the students that they would make every effort to fulfil their expectations.

Addressing the students, the president of the students’ union, Karan Sati said that bettering the academic environment in the campus would be his priority. During the campaigning, the students had raised the issue of textbooks and an improved online system. The defeated presidential candidate, Tanishq Mehra also thanked the students for their support, stating that he would continue to be active in addressing the students’ issues in the future.

The secretary Ayush Arya, vice-president Dinesh Chandra and deputy secretary Jaivardhan were among those present at the meeting.
