National Nutrition Month 2025 to conclude on October 17: Arya

The closing ceremony of National Nutrition Month 2025 will be held on October 17, with the Union minister of State for Women and Child Development (WECD), Savitri Thakur as the chief guest. This information was shared during a meeting led by the WECD minister Rekha Arya, who reviewed the preparations for the event with departmental officials here on Tuesday.
Arya provided details about the event, stating that Anganwadi workers and various women representatives from across the State will be in attendance. Special stalls, including those for the Shri Anna Yojana, Golden 1,000 Days Yojana, Annaprashan and Godh Bharai, will be set up to promote proper nutrition for children and women. Nutrition kits and Mahalaxmi kits will also be distributed to enhance maternal and child health, she said.
Arya emphasised that National Nutrition Month is not just a campaign but also the foundation for a healthy future for mothers and children. Through this closing ceremony, we aim to spread the message of nutrition to every home and ensure that no child suffers from malnutrition. She has tasked the officials responsible for making the event a grand success.
