The Delhi chief minister and national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) arrived on his seventh and possibly the last visit to the state on Sunday before polling in the ensuing assembly elections scheduled to be held on February 14. Kejriwal arrived at Dehradun airport at around 1 PM on Sunday for his three-day visit. During his interaction with mediapersons at the airport, he said that the people of Delhi gave him a chance to serve them and his government consistently worked for their welfare and his party aims to do the same here if people would give them a chance.

Subsequently, he directly departed to Haridwar from the airport to hold a review meeting with senior party leaders and workers about the party’s ongoing campaign and preparations for assembly elections. The party’s chief ministerial candidate colonel (retd) Ajay Kothiyal also accompanied him from the airport to Haridwar.

The AAP leaders informed that the Delhi CM will also review and assist the party in executing the master plan for the election campaign in the next seven days before the elections. Unlike during his past visits, the party has not revealed Kejriwal’s schedule ahead of his visit this time. However, the AAP leaders have informed that Kejriwal will possibly address party workers and participate in the door to door campaign in Haridwar. He is also expected to launch the party’s manifesto or Guarantee Patra on these two days of his visit which the party was claiming earlier to be launched in the weekend.
