An alumnus of Maharana Pratap Sports College of Dehradun, Bobby Singh Dhami has made his way to the team of 20 members of Indian hockey for the Junior Hockey World Cup competition to be held in Odisha from November 24.
Dhami took admission in the sports college in Class VI in the year 2012 and was also selected for Sports Authority of India in Sonipat as a class XII student. He has been recently selected for the Junior World Cup hockey competition to be held at Bhubaneswar in Odisha from November 24 to December 5.
The principal of the college, Rajesh Mamgain informed that 33 players were finalised for the team from across the country out of which, 20 members were selected including Dhami. He said that Dhami has a bright future ahead in hockey and gave him his best wishes.
