Month-long solo art exhibition inaugurated

Under the theme of Art-In-Fact, a solo art exhibition has been inaugurated in Dehradun on Friday. The exhibition is exhibiting 40 paintings made  by several  artists on different themes. The paintings exhibited are also up on sale. The month-long exhibition would conclude on March 8, the organisers said. Inaugurating the solo art exhibition of Tripti Behl, the secretary power Radhika Jha said, “The collection has been brilliantly crafted and holds an enigma in it. It is a work of divinity and can be interpreted differently by different souls. Art- In- Fact is peppered with a gamut of emotions, philosophy and spirituality which is a concoction of novelty and purpose.” Throwing light on her collection, artist Tripti Behl stated “Art does not come to all. It basks in glory in the hands of those who have coarsened their hands while acquiring and polishing it. Art should not please the eyes alone but also should have a purpose.” Speaking about the collection, Piyush, one of the onlookers and an art critic, said, “I particularly loved the concept of Bloom which symbolizes health, happiness, success and new life. The richness of the painting ‘Orrish’ which is a tribute to Partha and his sarthi is also exemplary.” Saturday, 09 February 2019 | PNS | Dehradun
