The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has accused the Narendra Modi government for misusing central agencies to harass the opposition leaders. In a statement, the PCC president said on Saturday that in protest against the deliberate and coercive action of the Modi government on former president of Congress Rahul Gandhi by using Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Congress party would hold protests at ED offices of the country on June 13.  He said that the BJP governments in the centre and states have proved to be a failure on all fronts and every section of the society is facing hardship under the BJP rule. Mahara said that the BJP had promised that when in power it would reduce prices but the prices have skyrocketed during the BJP rule. He said that the farmers and the unemployed of the country are on a path of agitation and the poor are reeling under an onslaught of prices. Mahara said that since Rahul Gandhi continuously raises his voice for these sections of the society, the Modi government is harassing him by using central agencies.

The media in charge of Uttarakhand Congress, Rajiv Mehrishi said that the PCC would hold a massive protest at the office of ED at Cross road Dehradun on June 13. In the protest the MLAs, former MLAs, office bearers of frontal organisations and Congress workers would participate.
