A team of Dehradun police recovered a minor girl allegedly abducted by a young man identified as Sumit (23) from village Bhandoshi in Gurugram, Haryana. The accused was also arrested from the same place. After a resident of Nehru Colony had lodged a complaint at Nehru Colony police station, stating that his minor daughter had left her house without informing anyone, the senior superintendent of police, Ajai Singh constituted a team to trace the missing minor.
The police team had checked the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the roads leading to the girl’s house. Through surveillance, it had come to light that the minor had been lured and taken to Gurugram. A team reached Haryana, recovered the girl and arrested the accused.
