A delegation from Maa Nanda Devi Rajrajeshwari Siddha Peeth Kurud Temple located in Nandanagar Badi block of Chamoli district met the State’s Religious Affairs minister, Satpal Maharaj here on Friday and apprised him of the preparations for the Shri Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra-2026 which takes place every 12 years.
The delegation further informed the minister that the king’s Kuldevi Siddhapeeth Kurud has not been included in the Raj Jat map, urging him for their inclusion as halts for the yatra. Maharaj assured the delegation that he would examine the matter and do the needful.
