Kerala Forest min inspects CTR with 15-member team

In latest news from Uttarakhand, a 15-member team from Kerala led by the State’s Forest minister A K Shashindran made an inspection of Corbett Tiger Reserve’s functioning under its management. They reached Ramnagar on a two- day tour. After visiting Bijrani Zone, the team members participated in a workshop organised at CTR. In course of the workshop, CTR director Saket Badola informed them about Corbett’s wildlife management, technology, ecotourism and patrolling. Shashindran hailed the CTR management’s success in running it and invited Uttarakhand’s forest minister and Corbett officials to visit Kerala Periyal Tiger Reserve and Parambikulam Tiger Reserve. Among others present at the workshop were the CTR deputy director Rahul Mishra, park warden Amit Gwasikoti and two MLAs from Kerala.
