The Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUU) has declared its BEd entrance test result. Counselling will be organised in 34 BEd colleges affiliated with the university from next week. The students will be given admission on the basis of the merit list on the State and management quota seats.
The university authorities have stated that BEd classes will begin on time. The SDSUU entrance test was held on July 23 at 21 centres in Garhwal region. A total of 10,090 students had applied on the university portal and out of these 8,398 students had deposited the fee and then 7,667 candidates appeared in the entrance test.
The university vice chancellor NK Joshi declared the entrance test results late on Tuesday evening. He said that despite limited resources, the test result had been declared on time by the university. He directed the university officials to ensure that the counselling process is started next week to facilitate formal start of the classes. The VC also held an online meeting with officials of the affiliated BEd colleges.
