Congress MLA Sumit Hridayesh has said that the political decorum and maturity exhibited by Late Indira Hridayesh is still relevant in today’s political scenario.
Interacting with the media persons here on Wednesday, the Congress MLA said that it is rare to see the political decorum and etiquettes between political rivals these days. He said that Indira Hridayesh played a major role in the enriching parliamentary practices in Uttarakhand.
The Congress MLA who is son of the late Indira Hridayesh said that she used to be very sensitive and tolerant towards her political opponents as well. He also remembered the contribution of former chief minster late Narayan Duttt Tiwari and former speaker of Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha late Prakash Pant in enriching parliamentary practices.
The Congress MLA said that a programme to pay tributes to Indira Hridayesh will be organised on June 13 in Haldwani on her fourth death anniversary. He appealed the people of the city to attend the ceremony.
