IFS Association forms new State executive

The Indian Forest Service Association, state chapter announced its new executive here on Saturday. Following the election held after a gap of three years, principal chief conservator of forests Monish Mullick was unanimously elected the head of the state chapter while conservator of forests PK Patro was made the general secretary. On the concluding day of the three-day annual meet of the IFS Association’s state chapter on Saturday, the officers once again raised the issues being faced by them. These included appointment of IFS officers to posts as important as those occupied by IAS officers. Further, it was also stated that proper feedback about works of the forest officers should reach the government.
