Acting on the direction of the vice-chairperson of the Haridwar- Roorkee Development Authority, Sonika, a team comprising HRDA officials launched a drive against unauthorised constructions and sealed three such constructions on Wednesday. To ensure security during the drive, police force was deployed during the action.
The first action was taken at a hotel in Shravan Nath Nagar, Haridwar, where the authority team immediately sealed the illegal construction after inspection. The second action was taken at the construction site in Roorkee which was sealed by the team. And the third action took place on the disputed construction located on HEC College Road ahead of the under-construction flyover near the sewage treatment plant in Jagjeetpur.
