Health Dept deploys 220 new doctors in remote locations

The State Health department has given appointments to the recently recruited 220 doctors in different health centres of the State. The department has deployed these new medical officers in the health centres located in the remote and mountainous areas of the State.
Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the State government is consistently working to strengthen the health services in the State. He said that the health infrastructure is being strengthened so that the people get quality health services near their residences.
Rawat said that all the new medical officers barring Divyangs have been deployed in health centres such as Dewal, Gwaldam, Tharali, Gairsain, Mehelchauri, Joshimath and Maithan in Chamoli and Harshil, Gangotri, Ticochi, Dunda, Mori, Bhatwadi in Uttarkashi district.
