The winter chill is yet to arrive in the plains of the State especially during the daytime. The mountainous regions are experiencing colder weather as expected while the minimum temperatures are yet to dip below 10 degrees Celsius in the plains.
The State meteorological centre has forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in all districts of the State on Tuesday. The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear sky. Further, mist is likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 28 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Monday were 28.4 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 27.8 degrees Celsius and 13.5 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 19.2 degrees Celsius and 9.8 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 21 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
