Hard working Dhami leading BJP’s campaign in U’khand

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has so far addressed 88 public gatherings and road shows across the State in support of the BJP candidates in all the five Lok Sabha constituencies. Though the ruling BJP has pushed many of its star campaigners including the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home minister Amit Shah, Defence minister Rajnath Singh, BJP national president JP Nadda, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Union MoS general (retd) V K Singh in the election campaign of Uttarakhand, it is the State CM Dhami who is actually spearheading the campaign in Uttarakhand.

It is learnt that all the five candidates of BJP in the State had demanded that CM Dhami should hold public meetings and rallies in their support. His supporters point out that a series of decisions such as Uniform Civil Code (UCC), anti riot law, action against land jihad and anti-conversion law have made Dhami popular not only within the State but also outside it.

It is pertinent to mention here that Dhami was in election mode even before the declaration of Lok Sabha elections.  Before the enforcement of model code of conduct (MCC) and announcement of election dates, the Uttarakhand CM had addressed Nari Shakti Vandan programmes and beneficiary conclaves in all the 13 districts of the State.

After the end of campaigning in the State, the CM will head to other states to campaign in support of party candidates.
