Dry weather to prevail across State today

As forecast by the meteorological centre, the weather across the state cleared on Sunday with people enjoying the sunlight after a few days of cloudy and rainy weather. Even as temperatures gradually rise, the nights have remained cool while mountainous regions continue to experience comparatively colder conditions. According to the state meteorological centre, dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State on Monday. The provisional state capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear to partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 26 degrees Celsius and nine degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Monday. Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the state on Sunday were 24.9 degrees Celsius and 9.1 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 26 degrees Celsius and 10.9 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 11.8 degrees Celsius and -0.1 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 13.6 degrees Celsius and two degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri. According to the available data, the maximum temperature in Dehradun and Pantnagar rose by a degree on Sunday whereas the mountainous regions have continued to experience colder weather. No rainfall was reported from any part of the state on Sunday.
