Govt at doorstep programme receiving good public response

The initiative of good governance ‘ Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ki Dwar’ programme undertaken by the Uttarakhand government on the directive of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is receiving good public response.
The programme which commenced on December 17, 2025 has witnessed participation of 3,30,461 citizens so far. A total of 408 public service camps have been organized under this campaign in all the districts of the State. The official data shows that 33,529 complaints have been received through the camps so far of which 22,675 cases have been resolved. In the camps organised on January 20, a total of 783 new applications were received and 502 cases were resolved on the spot. A total of 43,975 applications for various certificates and other government services have so far been received. The officials claim that 1,79,169 citizens have been directly benefited through various state government welfare schemes.
Expressing happiness at the good response the programme is receiving, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Jan Jan Ki Sarwar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar is not merely an administrative programme but a symbol of the government’s accountability and sensitivity to the public. “When the government itself reaches out to the public, listens to their problems and resolves them, trust in governance is automatically strengthened. This campaign of the Uttarakhand government is establishing a new work culture of good governance in the state, where dialogue, solutions and service are given top priority,’’ he said.
