The governor Lieutenant General ( rtd) Gurmit Singh paid glowing tributes to Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary on Wednesday. He said that Ambedkar played an important role in building an inclusive and egalitarian society by fighting for the weak and poor classes throughout his life. The governor said that Baba Saheb’s contribution towards the upliftment of the exploited and deprived and nation building will always remain inspiring.
