The Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmit Singh along with the State Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare minister, Ganesh Joshi will inaugurate the 118th All India Farmers’ Fair and Agro- Industrial Exhibition, known as Krishi Kumbh, at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) on Friday.
According to the programme received, Singh will depart by plane from Jolly Grant Airport at 12.15 PM on October 10 and reach Pantnagar airport at 1 PM. From there, he will reach Tarai Bhawan guest house by car. He will thereafter reach Gandhi Auditorium at Pantnagar University at 2.10 PM. Joshi has been in Udham Singh Nagar district on a
two-day visit.
The university administration said that they were fully prepared for the inauguration of the four-day Krishi Kumbh.
