Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government will complete all tasks within a fixed time period for which the plan has been prepared. Though some works may get delayed due to the rains, the government orders for all works will be issued by August 15. The stalled workers will be taken forward swiftly. He said this in a meeting of the office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party cells here on Tuesday.

Dhami said that Kanwad Yatra is part of Sanatan culture but the life of the general public comes first. The government is focusing on how to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Referring to the cells of the party, the chief minister said that the Morchas are guardians of the development works and that they have to play an important role now. “Our identity is as workers of the party and to maintain our identity we have to do the work of the party,” he added.

Earlier, the BJP state president Madan Kaushik said that office bearers of all the party’s cells will spend 10 days a month in their respective areas. All programmes of the party have been finalised and according to this the responsibility of the cells has also been fixed. He said that all the Morchas had done good work during the Covid pandemic serving the general public. Stating that the party cells did good by holding blood donation camps, distribution of masks and sanitisers, facilitating oxygen cylinders, hospital beds and tasks related to vaccination, he said that now their role in the election will be decided. He stressed that all have to take the party’s slogan of young leadership and 60 plus seats to the common people. The BJP state general secretary (Organisation) Ajey informed the office bearers about the scheduled programmes of the party in the coming months.
