GBPUAT’s researcher selected by Western Sydney University for doctoral program

The G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) sources said that a PhD scholar at the College of Agribusiness Management, Vidyavati- a resident of Matkota Farm, Pantnagar- has been selected for the dual doctoral programme (DDP) of Western Sydney University, Australia. She is the second scholar from Pantnagar University to have achieved this academic feat.
DDP is a joint degree programme under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) inked between GBPUAT and Western Sydney University (WSU). Under this, Vidyavati will be awarded two doctoral degrees-one to be awarded by GBPUAT and the other by WSU. She will study and do research work at WSU for about a year. During this period, she will be provided a scholarship by the university and additional financial assistance for research-related work.
The vice- chancellor, GBPUAT, Manmohan Singh Chauhan and professors of WSU congratulated heron her distinguished achievement.
