Professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of HNB Garhwal University, Ajay Semalty has been included in the world’s top two percent of scientists in the list published by a research group of Stanford University for the second consecutive year.
This year Semalty is placed at 1,70,702 overall rank in the prestigious list which is a big jump from the 1,96,612 rank he got last year in Pharmacy and Pharmacology.
Semalty said that in the scarce resources and conditions perpetuated by the pandemic of Covid-19 , it is a soothing news that he could get this achievement. He has 84 research papers, 11 research projects, 11 books, one Indian patent, UGC’s national level research award, two online courses on SWAYAM and 24 online courses on other platforms to his credit. He is an expert reviewer of Iceland Research Foundation, Israel Science Foundation (ISF) Israel and Scientific Expert (REPRISE) for the Ministry of Institution and University Research (MIUR), Italy.
