Four raths to travel eight States

Gayatri Parivar  Shantikunj, Haridwar has initiated ‘Vysanmukt Swarnim Bharat Rathyatra 

To mark Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, Gayatri Parivar  Shantikunj, Haridwar has initiated ‘Vysanmukt Swarnim Bharat ‘(Addiction Free Golden India) Rathyatra (video vehicle). Dr. Pranav Pandya, the head of All World Gayatri Parivar, flagged off four raths which would travel through eight states on Friday. The first video vehicle would start its journey from Nagpur and would cover a distance of about 5000 km in Maharashtra and Orissa. The second would start from Sultanpur and would cover all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. The third is slated to begin from Motihari and would cover 4000 km through Bihar and Jharkhand while the fourth one would start from Rewari and would travel through Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand. These four vehicles would cover a distance of about 18,600 km and exhort the youth while passing through the cities to rid themselves of substance addiction. Dr. Pandya said that substance addiction invites disaster in the life of an individual as well as the family. “The youth of the country from schools to universities are now under the vicious grip of substance addiction and this is what is destroying families and finally, the society. The initiative Gayatri Parivar has embarked on is meant to free the youth from the curse of drug abuse,” he said.
