Four eunuchs booked for obstructing government work and damaging public property

Dehradun police registered a case against four eunuchs for allegedly obstructing government work and damaging public property. The officials said that the incident took place in the wee hours of Sunday in the Rajpur area near the Mussoorie diversion during routine vehicle checking. According to them, the police received information that vehicle number UK07 AW 5775 had reportedly hit several other vehicles. When the police stopped the vehicle at a checkpoint, the individuals, who were eunuchs, came out of the vehicle and began creating a scene. They allegedly obstructed traffic by stopping vehicles and misbehaving with commuters.
According to the police, the accused also undressed at the location and engaged in abusive behaviour. The officials said that when the police tried to intervene, the individuals reportedly misbehaved with on-duty personnel and attempted to hinder official work. They allegedly damaged the police barricade, which disrupted traffic for some time.
All four individuals later arrived at the Rajpur police station and allegedly damaged parked vehicles and other property inside the station premises. Police identified the accused as Alina Khan, Sana Khan, Khushi and Alexa, all residents of Kargi Chowk in Patelnagar area. The officials said that the police have registered a case under sections 132, 352 and 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The vehicle involved in the incident has been seized. Further investigation is underway, the officials added.
