Ensure proper security, behave patiently with public: SSP
Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Arun Mohan Joshi reviewed security arrangements for the winter session of Vidhan Sabha set to start today. He instructed the police personnel on duty to reach their designated posts two hours in advance. He emphasised that no unauthorised person will allowed entering inside the Vidhan Sabha premises.
The force has been instructed to conduct documentation of any incident. He also said that the behaviour of force towards the general public should be patient. If there is any complaint about bad behaviour of police force towards the citizens, strict actions will be taken against them.
It is pertinent to mention here that five Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), 10 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), 13 police stations in-charge, 50 sub-inspectors, nine lady sub-inspectors, 10 head constables, 170 constables, 42 lady constables, five tear gas parties, three companies and one platoon of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), two units of fire service and three teams of QRT have been deployed for security during the Vidhan Sabha session.
After the security briefing, SSP Joshi along with his subordinates conducted an inspection of the security arrangements.
