Nainital Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt said that education is the foundation of life and that an educated person contributes significantly to the development of the nation. He was speaking at a programme held at the Great Mission Public School to mark its silver jubilee.
During the event, block Pramukh Sanjay Negi highlighted the 25-year-long struggle and efforts of the school’s managing directors Prasun Srivastava and Pranay Srivastava. The school principal, Shalini Srivastava expressed her gratitude to all the guests who attended the programme.
Prasun Srivastava said that the Great Mission Public School not only serves as an educational institution but also teaches the art of living. He added that with the support of local residents, the school has reached considerable heights.
On this occasion, school children presented various cultural items on topics such as drug abuse and cybercrime. Awareness was also raised on protecting girls during the event.
Block Pramukh Manju Negi, students and their parents were among those present during the event along with various local public representatives.
