Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights organised a one-day State level workshop for the effective implementation of the Right to Education Act, 2009 here on Tuesday. The State Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated it while the secretary of the commission, Shiv Kumar Barnwal said that quality education is the foundation of a bright and secure future for children. In her address, the chairperson of the commission, Geeta Khanna said that social justice would remain elusive unless all in society have equal access to education.
