DSO to hold district-level selection trials for State-level kho-kho competition on November 2

The Dehradun District Sports Office (DSO) will organise district-level selection trials for the State-level kho-kho competition for boys under 14 and under 18 on November 2. These trials will take place at Government Inter College, Khadri Khadakmaf, Rishikesh. According to officials, in celebration of the 25th State Foundation Day (Silver Jubilee), the DSO of Narendranagar in Tehri district is hosting a State-level kho-kho competition for boys under 14 and under 18 from November 7 to November 9, 2025, at the playground of Government Inter College, Narendranagar.
To take part in this competition, the Dehradun team will be participating and therefore, district-level selection trials will be held on November 2, 2025, starting at 10 AM at Government Inter College, Khadri Khadakmaf, Rishikesh. Participants in the district-level selection trials must bring both original and photocopies of the following documents: a passport-sized photo, Aadhaar card and a permanent residence certificate, officials said.
Additionally, it will be recalled that in conjunction with the 25th State Foundation Day (Silver Jubilee) celebrations, the DSO of Narendranagar, Tehri Garhwal, will also host the State Level Softball Competition for the open senior boys’ category from November 4 to November 5, 2025, at the sports ground of Baurari Stadium, New Tehri. For this event, the Dehradun team will also compete and the DSO Dehradun will conduct district-level selection trials for this competition on November 1 at Pavilion Ground.
