The Dehradun police have recovered 200 mobile phones worth Rs 30 lakh which were mostly lost or stolen. These phones were recovered with the help of mobile recovery cells. The police informed that mobile recovery cells have been set up in rural and urban areas as per the directions of the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Janmejaya Khanduri to recover lost and stolen mobile phones.
With the regular surveillance by the police teams, 200 mobile phones were recovered from some local areas like Kalsi, Selaqui, Sahaspur and Vikasnagar as well as from some other states which were handed over to their rightful owners on Friday, informed the police. The officials informed that the police take immediate actions on every complaint regarding the lost mobile phones for faster recovery. They added that everyone must report their stolen or lost mobile phones to the police immediately for faster recovery.
