In latest news from Doon, an accused against whom a minor rape complaint had been lodged in Doiwala police station was arrested from Bal Kunwari Chowk, Doiwala Divulging details, a police officer privy to the details said that a person had lodged a complaint, stating that the accused had lured her 15- year- old minor daughter from home, taken her away with him and forced her into physical relation. According to the complainant, the girl had told him about the incident when he returned home. On the basis of the complainant, a case was registered under POCSO and other acts at Doiwala police station.
In view of the seriousness of the incident, the senior superintendent of police, Dehradun, Ajai Singh had stressed on forming a team and arresting the accused at the earliest.
