Doon Cambridge School celebrated Independence Day with joy and gaiety. The celebration started with the speeches delivered in English and Hindi by the head girl and the head boy respectively. Thereafter, the school director H K Chhabra and the chief proctor Avinash Shukla unfurled the national flag together.
Then the director and proctor addressed the commemorative gathering and spoke of the significance of I-Day celebration. This was followed by cultural programmes like poem recital and patriotism-themed dance performance.
