DM reviews preparations for President Murmu’s two-day visit to Dehradun

Dehradun district magistrate Savin Bansal conducted a review meeting in the collectorate on Tuesday regarding the preparations for the proposed visit of President Droupadi Murmu to the district on June 20 and 21. During the meeting, he said that all security, logistics, hospitality and ceremonial arrangements are being closely monitored by senior officials, with a clear focus on coordination, time-bound delivery and adherence to protocol. Bansal instructed all departmental officials concerned to complete their assigned responsibilities within the stipulated time. Bansal informed that the President is scheduled to visit Ashiana on June 20 and attend an International Yoga Day event on June 21. The DM specifically directed the AYUSH department to coordinate with other departments to ensure full readiness for the Yoga Day celebration. He emphasised the importance of interdepartmental coordination to manage the arrangements at the event venues in accordance with established protocol. He directed all departments to work in close cooperation to guarantee seamless organisation of both programmes. He reminded officials to treat this visit as a high-priority assignment and to follow protocol strictly. Bansal reiterated that every department must execute its tasks with precision and within deadlines to ensure the success and dignity of the President’s two-day visit.
