The Pauri district magistrate, Ashish Chauhan reviewed the progress of UCC implementation in the district at a meeting here on Friday and directed the officials concerned to ensure that all the employees of their respective departments complete UCC registration in a week. Also, he asked the block development officers to run a special campaign in the rural areas and complete the UCC registration of persons married after March 26, 2010 within two months. Further, he directed the sub-divisional magistrates, municipal commissioners and executive officers of municipalities to arrange special UCC awareness camps in the town and urban areas
